Gary Fears and his Aircraft

Well, we told you a little about Gary Fears in the last blog post.  Just to recap, we mentioned Gary and his poker consulting company, Affinity Poker LLC.  We also talked about Gary Fears the developer, Gary as a public servent with the State of Illinois, and even mentioned his investing in Tactical Air Defense Services. (TADS)  We left you hanging with the teaser about Gary owning an aircraft company... well, it's true, Gary Fears owns Air Support Services as well!

The flagship plane in Gary's company is an IL-78, a large 4 engine refueling tanker.  This plane is huge... it can actually carry 230,000 lbs of extra weight or fuel!

Gary feels the plane will be ideal as an air tanker for fighting forest fires, and it just might be.  However, the plane is also a air refueling tanker, so it can support our troops and efforts abroad.  Currently, Gary has leased the plane to Tactical Air Defense Systems.

See... we told you in any group of people, Gary would be one of the most interesting people in the room... and he is!  Investor, developer, aircraft owner, and Indian casino consultant, Gary is one of the more interesting people around!
